Join us for a remarkable retreat in the heart of the Cascade Mountains, in the company of like hearted women, in the care of experienced guides.
Be welcomed to the land by an 18 hh giant - whose gentle shadow follows as you walk amongst the herd. There, in a creek-lined meadow, you are visited by horses who are balanced and loved, who choose to approach, to inquire, sharing space with you on their terms, in their own way.

Tuition: $1497 + HST/ Buddy Rate $1250 + hst

Ainsley and Damon Beauchamp of BC Horse Vacations with their beloved horses that are so well cared for and loved that you know it is a privilege to be in their company. What a gift to walk into a giant field amongst a herd of horses that are interested in who you are; that are respectful and trusting; that are willing to fully participate in the fun and learning and sacred connections that Sandra and Ainsley facilitate.
Sandra Walllin, from her impressive education, guides the exercises for your small group with such heart that you almost feel that you are in a spiritual womb. Magically you open, look inside and discover, not only, issues rising to be healed, but also, some long buried dreams – that you had long forgotten – gently fluttering to the awareness of your conscious mind.
And, I’m not even touching on the the breathtaking views from the Cascade Mountains or the fragrances of the forests and meadows, or the Beauchamp’s lunches or the superb local Bed and Breakfast establishments.

Imagine being in a wide open field surrounded by a herd of horses and hoping for one them to choose you. Imagine standing eyes closed in a round pen waiting without knowing exactly what for, and then feeling the warm breath of a horse on your skin. Imagine slowing down long enough to experience the pure Joy of being connected in a new way to this animal, to yourself, and to those around you. The Joy Ride allowed me to not only imagine, but to experience, my life in a new way.

Hi Sandra – I so appreciated the Sacred Ride – it’s made a big difference to me – and I really appreciated your role in it. I was aware of how you were holding the group, of the unobtrusive but dedicated care you took in that and I really enjoyed relaxing into it. I usually do over-responsible, especially in groups and it was a treat to be able to choose to let some things go by because I felt so confident in how you were with us. It was also one of the most spacious groups I’ve been with in a long time, in the sense of being given clear suggestions with logic behind them, but always having freedom of choice and voluntarism held as real, operative values.
Oh blah, it’s hard to put it into words but I feel a lot of appreciation and gratitude towards you and just wanted to write and say thank you for all the heart that you put in, poured out, and shared so generously with us.
