This is my last time seeing a horse today but I am very happy that I have a connection with Grace. She is really beautiful and I am touched by her lovely feelings.  What she said to me today was that she was having a great time with me. I will never forget Grace and Chiron for they are some of my best friends.

You were like a guide and a coach, setting up each activity in the most thorough way, providing us with the information and support we needed while at the same time, giving us enough space and freedom to have it be our own doing.  What came through the strongest was your sheer love and reverence for the horses.  I felt like you shared what was in your heart in the most generous and open way, and in doing so, allowed us to see in the way you see, and to experience the horses in the way you do.  You are a gifted teacher and I appreciated the opportunity to learn form you.

We are parents of two  wonderful children . Our son has ADHD and also an anxiety disorder. Our daughter has ADD.  Both children require  l ot s of support, each having learning disorders and  social difficulties .
Sandra Wallin approached us three years ago regarding her equine program for our son. I have always believed in the importance of therapy animals, especially for children! We jumped at the offer. We saw a child, who was paranoid of  all large animals, go from being TERRIFIED, to actually touching a horse! He actually looked forward to the sessions and he was willing to try! The program opened the  door to other areas for our son as well ... and guess what... we now have a standard poodle. I really believe that the equine program led the way for him to conquer some of his fears!

Our daughter, has been in  Sandra's program for two years. She has ADD and ha d difficulty interacting with her peers.  She was often sad and she would not try new things.
The equine program  was wonderful  for her.  It helped her to gain confidence in  herself and gave her  a sense of peace, a nd a  calmness that was never there before!  In fact the equine program helped both of our children become more at peace with themselves! An inner peace that blooms into confidence. Something which I had never thought I'd see. I can tell you how that feels for our family . I t's overwhelming !  And now,  our daughter, who was also terrified dogs, wants to be a junior handler with our Standard Poodle puppy!

I believe with all my heart, that this program has benefited our daughter in such a positive way.  She completely open s up to the horse s and literally glows with joy .  I t is an incredible sight to behold! She becomes a very different child, one full of self confidence, maturity, and most importantly... one who's ready to take on new things, one who likes herself.
As parents of these two wonderful children, we highly recommend Sandra's equine program for special children with special needs!
