Dancing With Equus (Level 2 Training)
In a world that is looking beyond the status quo for personal and professional development, horses are leading the way. When you commit to working with Sandra and her equine team, you will learn about the vast potential of partnering with horses, how such work is accessible to a wide range of markets and how you can define your unique contribution as you create your niche therein.
This innovative facilitation program is for wellness professionals, coaches, counsellors, educators and equine professionals who want to:
- Master the art of partnering with horses in the fields of human or corporate development
- Incorporate EGD sessions into your existing client base
- Bring new tools and insights to your business and partnerships
- Develop a strong foundation in EGD processes and skills
- Become more versatile in your approach to individuals, teams and herds
During these experiential 2 weeks you will learn how to:
- create a safe environment for learning, sharing, growing and healing
- partner with a variety of horses and identify their unique strengths
- facilitate a reflective/contemplative equine guided development session
- enhance your understanding of equine behaviour by learning Carolyn Resnick’s Waterhole Rituals
- conceptualize the use of active principles within an EGD session
- use a variety of teaching styles to meet the diverse needs of your students
- incorporate the expressive arts to heighten and deepen the integration of any session or program
- keep your herd happy and healthy before, during and after sessions and programs
- identify beliefs that might limiting you from creating a thriving EGD practice
- work on your written scope of practice document for submission to NAEFW

*Previous exposure to or training in equine guided work is a prerequisite for this training, such as the Level 1 Exploring EGD Training at Chiron’s Way, or equivalent. This course is in keeping with the Focus Training of the National Association of Equine Facilitated Wellness (NAEFW) and will include Carolyn Resnick’s Waterhole Rituals as taught by Sharolyn Wandzura, a Resnick supported instructor and a Chiron’s Way Art of EQUUS Grad.
