Equine Guided Development trainings at Chiron’s Way provide direct experience with horses and honour them as respected guides in human growth, learning and development. The word guide defines the horse’s role as they do more than facilitate or assist, they literally guide the learning process. Equine Guided Development professionals follow and listen to the horse’s input which is a key component in successful sessions. The word guide means one who can find a path through unknown or unexplored territory which makes horses an invaluable member of the Equine Guided Development team.
Equine Guided Development (EGD) for Professionals is for those of you who are interested in adding an Horse as Teacher, Coach, or Healer aspect to your existing or developing wellness practice. EGD, also known as Equine Facilitated Wellness and Equine Assisted Coaching to name a few, supports the growth, evolution and expansion of individuals, groups and teams.
Drawn to Horses is for people who want to learn more about themselves while in the company of horses. When you see horses, your heart skips a beat whether you’ve grown up with them or admired them from afar. There is a reason for this connection; a harmonic resonance that happens in the presence of horses which can catalyze profound insight and awareness.
Conscious Horsemanship is Sandra’s new and anticipated horsemanship program, unique for equestrians from all walks of life. You’ll learn why being whole brained is the key to heightened learning with horses whether your desired outcome is the national dressage team or walking at liberty with your horse. You’ll also be taught how to use your subconscious to become more horse conscious, and in turn, create and live the life you’ve imagined … with your horses and beyond.
Horses enable us to see the world anew. A friend described it as taking her blinders off. When she spent time with horses she could take in a wider view. The colours seemed more vibrant and she noticed things she had never seen before.
As prey animals, horses are extremely sensitive to our intentions. They know how we are feeling even if we don’t … and their actions reveal information about how we really come across to others. They model honest and clear communication and reward us with trust and full engagement as soon as we become congruent – when our inside matches our outside. As a result, we get immediate feedback while in the learning or healing process, enabling us to see ourselves anew and supporting us as we redefine our possibilities with vision, integrity and personal power.
